Western North Championship: Kwasare Fighters battle Bia Stars on Sunday

Kwasare Fighters football club will host Bia Stars at the Nana Yaw Krah II Park in Sefwi Kwasare on matchday 3 of the 2023 Western North Championship.

Kwasare Fighters, a team hailing from Bia East district, faced disappointment in their opening game of the competition, succumbing to a 3-1 defeat to Adjoafuaman FC at the Nana Kofi Asare Park.

Now, they are determined to bounce back and claim a victory when they face the Bia Stars on Sunday, November 5, 2023.

Kwasare Fighters, led by their manager, Collins Abi, are equally eager to secure a win and make their mark in the tournament. The team is currently at the bottom of the table with no point, and they see this upcoming match as a prime opportunity to turn their fortunes around.

Bia Stars, on the other hand, managed to secure a single point in their drawn encounter with Determination FC at the Nana Kofi Asare Park in Adjoafua last weekend.

They will be striving to add more points to their tally during the clash with Kwasare Fighters. The match is expected to be fiercely competitive, as both teams have a lot at stake.

Nana Akasbina’s Bia Stars are determined to secure at least a point in this away fixture, which would further solidify their position in the league standings.

As of now, they sit in the second position, just a point behind their rivals, Adjoafuaman FC, adding extra intensity to this match.

In another fixture on the same day, Determination FC will host the Royal Kings of Adabokrom at the Nana Kwadwo Samah I Park in Sefwi Asountaa on Sunday, November 5, 2023, in the 2023 Western North Championship.
