Bright Asamoah Brefo, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency, has committed to the establishment of ultra-modern ICT centres across the constituency if elected as Member of Parliament.
Asamoah Brefo made this pledge during the 20th anniversary celebrations of Bibiani Trinity Academy, where he served as the guest of honour.
He emphasized the importance of ICT as a vital tool for accessing a wealth of information and facilitating educational opportunities.
“In addition to the ICT Centres, I am also dedicated to constructing well-equipped public libraries and creating modern playgrounds to support community events and activities,” he stated.
He further highlighted the role of ICT in enabling learners to enroll in courses offered elsewhere, thus broadening their educational horizons.
Addressing the audience, Asamoah Brefo urged parents and guardians to be actively involved in their children’s academic and social development.
He advised them to monitor their children’s interactions and movements, particularly to prevent involvement in activities associated with LGBT+.
To the students, he encouraged diligence and perseverance, urging them to follow the example of the school’s distinguished alumni.
