Sefwi Royal beat Boako Nationals, Santos FC shock Mighty Sayere FC – Western North Championship

Sefwi Royal FC claimed victory in a closely contested match during the third week of the Western North Championship, defeating Boako Nationals.

Sefwi Royal FC secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over their opponents, Boako Nationals, during the action-packed encounter at the Bonsu Nkwanta Community Park.

This significant win propelled Sefwi Royal FC to the summit of the Juaboso/Wiawso Zone, with an impressive 7 points from their first three games, establishing themselves as early frontrunners in the competition.

In another jaw-dropping fixture on matchday 3, Santos FC managed to shock Mighty Sayera FC by holding them to a 1-1 draw at the Nana Frimpong Manso II Park in Sayerano.

Mighty Sayera FC opened the scoring in the first half, taking the lead and showing their intentions to secure a victory on home ground.

However, Santos FC, displaying incredible resilience, mounted a second-half comeback, ultimately equalizing the scoreline.

Meanwhile, Boako Nationals find themselves at the bottom of the table in the Juaboso/Wiawso Zone, having yet to record a point in the competition.
